Just a moment while we sign you in to your Goodreads account. Lindsey made them sound like animals who rutted every chance they got, and we should immediately fawn over them upon learning of their prowess. It makes it hard for me to get invested in the romance.

Probably my third or fourth favorite in the series overall Instead they have one night that happened almost entirely off screen.

I enjoyed this historical romance by one of my favorite authors. In the past few books, Ive felt a hangover of “Gentle Rogue”, and this book suffered from it greatly. Predestinada para el Duque: So when he kidnapped her again in this story, the stage was set for some steamy fireworks. Dec 05, Misty rated it liked it. Jack is angry that her father has left her in London while he confronts the man that kidnapped her.

Dos hombres esperaban, con impaciencia, la subasta.

There was a good – and highly complicated – plot, but I just didn’t get any chemistry with the main characters. But at this rate with no new and exciting people or anymore scandals hello! At the time, there were not many historical romances with heroines who would risk walking into danger and rescuing themselves. Evergreen Falls y Secretos en las paredes: He never did anything despicable or to try to break her spirit. But this time, things are different between them.

Eventually I gave up and focused on the key players. At first Jack expects Damon to try to force himself on her but he never touches her.

Fuego secreto, de Johanna Lindsey (+18) – Literatura Romántica Juvenil

Because honestly, the only reason I stayed hoping after Judy’s book, and kept reading Jack’s book was because I was curious about how James’s and Anthony’s children will be. For the first time, James Malory and his Anderson in-laws agree on something: And first I will say that I really liked seeing the complexity between James and Damon because they do a past that is packed with misunderstandings.

Johanna’s books joyanna the various eras of history, including books set in the Middle Ages, the American “Old West” and the popular Regency England-Scotland. czutiva

The villian was almost completely toothless. Not enough romance I’m giving this 2. Ultimately, she navigates respect and care for her father and brother with her own self-determination.

Aug 12, Lakshmi C rated it really liked it. Malory Family 1 – 10 of 12 books.

Beautiful Tempest

I was reading late into the night, and when I started to nod off, I got mad at myself because I wanted to keep reading! And yeah this book had me laughing upside down and sideways. It felt like catching up with friends.

Aug 04, Kris Rafferty rated it liked it.

It looks like Mortimer might be a candidate in a future Malory book, maybe for Jaime Malory?? She’s only 18 or 19, so that excuses some of her immaturity, to a point.

She was annoying most of the book, she was very spoiled. I felt sorry for Damon at times because he really got a crappy life full of lies and secrets. By far the most popular among her books are the stories about the Malory-Anderson Family, a Regency England saga.

Her books began in the time of bodice rippers and I found this book to be an cauttiva flip of many of those books. While she has a different sensibility, she refuses to be amr or deterred by her male family members.

And the descafgar reveals’ at the end were gratuitous. Instead, I got a simple plot with simple action that by the time the last chapter came around I just read the words with little attention and hoped yet not hoping the last word is on the next page.
